Armed Services Blood Program (ASBP) Blood Drive

Have you saved a life lately? USO Bavaria, Area Director, Carly Harris, and Camp Aachen USO, Center Manager, James Joyce are hoping to do just that – save service members’ lives! They both donated blood during the Armed Services Blood Program (ASBP) Blood Drive hosted in the Grafenwoehr USO on October 6. Of particular interest, is Carly’s story of being able to give blood for the first time in her entire life! Having lived in Liberia as a teenager and being in Germany too long as an adult disqualified her until the rules on donating blood recently change.
