2022 Halloween Spooktacular

Calling Gremlins, Ghosts and Goblins of all ages! Join USO Grafenwoehr, the Tower Barracks Exchange, and Service Credit Union as we collaborate to bring you “Halloween Spooktacular” on Saturday, October 29 from 1200-1500 outside of the Tower Barracks Exchange Complex. We cordially invite all groups, organizations, units and families to join us and support this “fang-tastic” community event. Please help us “carve out some good times” for our community by volunteering to support one of the options described below: “Trunk or Treat” - Decorate a trunk or two (who says only cars.) and hand out candy (or other Halloween goodies) to the kids. Activity Tent - Decorate a tent and host an activity for kids or adults (bean bag toss, ring around the pumpkin, bobbing for apples, etc. - we have tons of ideas we can provide). Volunteer - Prefer to donate your time instead? We need volunteers to help with pre-event preparation, set-up, event execution, and clean up. Publicity - Regardless of whether your group chooses to participate, we would love your help to share the event with your service members, employees, and their families! Music and a costume parade will ensure that this “monstrous event” will be a “screaming success”. And of course, there will be prizes awarded for the Funniest, Scariest, and Group trunk/tent decorations. We will also have prize drawings for those who come in costume; age groups 0-12, 13-17, and 18+.
